I did the wooden stick trick in the morning when I got to work and it was all done by lunch time. Not that I do things the easy way... lol! Did it a few months ago and still holding strong If it's going to fail it wont be until it starts getting hot again though I think. bobdisk Posted December 25, 2010 Report Share Posted December 25, 2010 Did mine using the same EvoStik, its been there for 2 years now, no signs of coming off. The main difference to all others, I took ALLof the seal off the car and did it indoors. That may be OTT, but I did it inch by inch, on the living room floor, in the warm. left it 12 hours to cure, then back on the car next day. It was worth the effort, I had heard of so many failures. If you do take the seal off, be careful, there is a connector about level with the top of the windscreen for the window safety switch. Dont pull it out like I did, when you pull the seal off the car. (managed to repair it!) That safety switch is the reason it is so expensive. When the window goes up, press the seal, and the window stops. If one of those connectors is open circuit, the windows auto close does not work on any window. (theres no auto close on the rear windows on the coupe).
