To be fair i have seen a lot worse! Think i might do something similar with the track car.

Where do you get the plastidip from and how much do you need?

yes its not bad,the paint before hand wasn't the best so it was worth a shot.

i used plasti dip on the test panel but the whole car was actually full dip which i ment to put. i bought 15 cans from http://matt-pack.co.uk/

came in at under 100quid and i only used 9 cans to get full coverage of about 5-6coats,i added a extra can after to the front to help with stonechips. then a couple more cans experimenting with repairs etc..  but depends what car your doing? need about 12-13L if your gunning it which i may do at a later date..

something like this worked well for over spray and reactivation for repairs, obviously you cant peel a light dusting of over spray

and a decent spray wax is a must otherwise its marks so easy

Hope to see this at some point. the paint looks sweet and no doubt it is stupidly loud hehe :):):)

i go to the hospital up your way at least once a week surprised you haven't heard it :P its not actually yobtastic loud, the idle is really strange kind of jet sounding has a nice roar and plenty of whistle when going and lift off is still huge giggles :P

the paint will be sweet once i redo certain bits :)

not sure if you can remember back. when you had the style 32s what size tyres did you run?

the rears were 235/35 slight rubbing

 the fronts were 225/35

i wouldn't go back to 35s though due to noise and ride, and not sure if its related to size but they gave me 2 blowouts in less than 6months :o

Terrific just what I wanted to hear....:'(

I've just purchased a set of style 32s. I'm looking at

Front 215/35
Rear 225/35
Quite a lot of stretch but hopefully look good.

they arent that bad easy livable,i just find 40s a littler better

225 on a coupe should be zero rub.

stretch isint to bad either

Do you think the 35 will be too much stretch?

well the 235/35 tyres i had were stretched just enough to look good but attract zero attention

ive had 225 tyres on 9.5" rims with safe stretch so you should be fine.

i had two complete sidewall failures so thin tyres and stretch seem dodgy to me these days.could be completely unrelated and i just got unlucky. plus nothing better than getting sideways down the m2 :D
