E46Nick
Hi guys. Move just purchased a coilover kit for my 2002 330ci. Looking at various YouTube videos it shows the adjusters being bolted to where the stock bottom rubber used to be. Mine don't have any bolts ,am I ok to fit the adjusters with no bolts and no rubbers ? Edited September 4, 2017 by Daz 330 Cs

momo
I've not fitted coilovers to mine, but have lowering springs.. I'd replace the rubber pads tbh. I wuoldn't want to run without. Pretty sure the pads help locate the spring on the arm?
DaveNE
look at Shoplife's coilover install. Pad deffo helps to locate the spring. i would imagine it would cause all sorts of problems if you don't install the pad. Used this guide when i had coilovers installed on my E36 hope it helps
Daz 330 Cs
I had a similar kit on my Cs. There definitely wasn't any bolts for the adjusters, they don't need any. The kit didn't come with rubber pads either. The adjuster just sat on the arm, no issues.
E46Nick
Thanks guys. I'll get them swapped this weekend. I'll try it without bolts and pads if it rattles I'll have to try it with the rubbers 👍🏻👍🏻

I've fitted them upside down with the top pad on the bottom they seem fine like that. Thanks momo
