I have a 2002 BMW E46 330i which had the Navigation/TV/CD/Cassette player stereo head unit. I want to replace this with another head unit but I am not sure what wiring adapters I need to buy. The old unit only had two connectors (one blue and one white) and I was expecting the wiring to be different. I would appreciate any advice on what wiring/cables/adapters I need to buy. dontpannic Posted June 24, 2021 Report Share Posted June 24, 2021 You'll need the 5m 17-pin/40-pin extension cable, and you'll need to run it from the boot through to behind the dash. I believe this will plug in instead of the navigation computer in the boot. Then you'll just need the 17-pin/40-pin to ISO converter to plug your new stereo in.
