I have searched and nothing definate about door mirror wiring was posted other than physically check the wiring.
As for as I can tell there are several types of mirrors excluding M3 mirrors.
I focused my search on the 2 below; Electric with memory and heated glass Electric with memory, heated and powerfold
There are 6 and 12 pin wiring for these mirrors.
From the part numbers off REALOEM i cant tell any difference in the parts as to when they changed from cable to ribbon etc nor does it mention 6 or 12 pins.
but from various pictures I have seen around I believe that the wiring for them is as follows: Electric with memory and heated glass = 6pin Electric with memory, heated and powerfold = 12pin
Am I correct in thinking this and can people that have double checked the wiring post some pictures of said wiring and confirm the spec of their mirrors please and year of car they are off?
