Headlighting Guide.

bulbs was faulty,i simply replaced them

From what I've read it seems the flicker problem is pretty much inevitable when fitting hid lights... you then need to buy more stuff to fix it after - like the bits you've listed.

I was out last night and noticed how terrible the headlights are in projector halogens. So much so I had my fog/driver lights on just to see where the road had flooded!

Where do I get H7 HID kit from and which place is best, hids4u or hids-direct or elsewhere? I wouldn't fit them to reflectors however my car has projectors so no issue. I had a set of 35w 6000k in a passat b5.5 (picture below) which were also projectors and great but I think I am going to go for 5000k this time.

it could of been a dodgy hid kit im thinking

so il try my new kit when it arrives.

2 things that help when you have the flicker problems are:

1,fit error cancelling anti-flicker capacitors

2,fit a relay wired hid loom

ive ordered both the above to make sure i get the system running as it should

Where did you get the relay from? In 3 series' the battery is in the boot so the cable is not long enough?

the relay kit uses existing wiring.

all it needs is a poss supply to work.

I never use mine in the end

my hid kits still running perfect
