I couldnt believe the sound difference from the exhaust, i had the stereo off the whole way and couldnt help grinning!! JonSmiths Posted January 20, 2010 Report Share Posted January 20, 2010 Always thought mine was stuck open, but then realised it stays in the open position when the car is off. Disconnected the hose last night and wow what a difference! You can hear the difference at lower revs especially if your cruising in 5th and blip the throttle. Has a nice deep boom to it now. Mine was stuck shut - used some WD and a pair of long nosed pliers and happy days! Will it have been restricting power with it being stuck shut? Knuckle Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 I smashed the living hell out of my completley stuck valve on the weekend and finally broke it off. (Turning it didnt work, it just bent the metal as it was so stuck). When i first took it out for a spin i didnt notice any difference but when it had heated it up you really could, sounded Ace.
