Do a search on the various parts places on the net, i managed to get a used 16mm unit from the Parts Gateway for £20, absolutely mint :-), BMW Dealer is around £60 and there is a guy on eBay selling them for £65 for the 16mm version. See how it goes Updating the software would be fine but what if the actual hardware isnt very good, build quality poor or software not good but not updated or the updates dont cover areas you dont like. I really hope its a good unit as im interested in one but thats quite alot of people risking £400 now in the hope its a good unit and if its not that it can be made into one. Good points well made, it is a bit of a risk but in my mind a calculated and reasonable one, with the dynavin as far as I know the only hardware that was required was something to stop the hissing that can be bought. I don't understand how the normal e46 owner who is not on this site would stumble across the product AND TTints haven't sold out of their original 25 orders and they are tried and tested. Maybe there are lots of Audi units snapped up. I still struggle to understand how there are 5 e46 owners not on this site that have stumbled across it.
