Yeah unfortuantly, but its the best way to have it, it'd look cheap & nasty if it handed been moulded in! Just get yourself some paint that can cope with the heat. Also, if you do go ahead with it, stick a strip of tape down the side before you start painting, then peel it off once it's done.
