Bearcat F8F
I just want to say fantastic job! Love what you are doing with the car! Can I ask why you decided to go for that car and then turn it into an M-Sport type looking thing? Is it cheaper to get 1 of those and put on the bumpers/ trim yourself than buying an M-Sport with similar mileage/ gearbox/ condition? Keep up the great work! Your BM looks waay cool now! baz666
Well as you properly read from my first post the bm came to me quite cheap and as i had just sold my m50 e30 and like to play and build e30 i thought the e46 would be a nice shell to do something with + i love the colour bit different to black, blue or silver. Is it a cheaper way no fella for what i'v spent so far i could of brought a m-sport but doing it this way i'm having fun and i can say.....I did that.:-)

El Turko
Speaking of which, has anyone seen the wheeler dealers with the e36 M3? Saw it last night, it looked mint when they sold it! Although they ruined the wheels That M3 was up on Pistonheads for soooo long. It must have still been a bit ropey, and it was well over priced. They obviously never sell any of their cars, as they're all later advertised on Pistonheads under the same username/trader. As an BMW enthusiast I found it hard to watch. Calling technoviolet undesirable was a massive faux-pas! Baz, get a wriggle on man, I wanna see some interior updates LOL!
El Turko
PS, loads of the guys on e46fanatics have simply taken the trim, and stuck matt black vinyl over the trim. Looks extremely easy, and has a great effect.
n1k_ns
As an BMW enthusiast I found it hard to watch. Calling technoviolet undesirable was a massive faux-pas! I thought it was cool, all apart from instead of getting the wheels properly refurbished, they spend £60 a corner on a Mobile-repair jobbie that just masked & sprayed the faces in a completely different finish than they are supposed to be... But to be honest, the 'Technoviolet' would definitely put me off, not a fan at all, they chose black in the end, and everyone likes black
baz666
Thanks for all your comments. As for wheels....i know some of you guys already know but these are going on for the time being going to need to build my Penny's up again for something wide and dished, these are being refurbed by myself so taking a while to get them finished and on. Every wheel had an edge on like this. Mick Brewer....that's funny Interior...what is there to do, i know mine needs a bloody good clean which i`m not to fuzzed about at the mo as i`m looking into leather cleaner as it has 10 years of dirt in the cracks.....any ideas?? baz666
The only thing stopping me fitting the back bumper are the bloody parking sensors, i think they go for stupid amounts of money, I havent got a parking sensors set up on my car so not really worried about them workinging just need to fill the holes. I do have a question for you guys so i get rid of the spolier ??
El Turko
Definitely despoiler IMO. You cant beat a clean look. Can you not just get the holes filled?? Or just fit the PDC sensors until you get round to wiring it all up.
n1k_ns
baz, for parking sensors try: BMSPARES Silverlake DouglasValley MiniMatts (I regularly use these guys as they are only 2 minutes down the road, last time i went there, a month ago or so, they were breaking about 15 BMW's. baz666
As far as i know the spolier is only stuck on its not drilled anywhere i can see, i`m after the sensors i`m not bothered about having it wired in and working the prices of 1 sensors if i`m not having them working is quite high for my pocket. yeah i`v tryed them all, they all want around a £100 a set which ok thats not bad compared to bm`s prices £107 each for painted. Not sure tbh, i would have thought you might get £100 for the lot?
