thejames
I had the bluetooth cradle - useless. Things rattle around and fly out on "spirited" driving... Thought about the OE cup holders but read nothing but people moaning about them. When I bought my Dynavin, decided on the sliding tray instead. I've run my ipod and line-in leads into in - works beautifully. PITA to get hold of though. They're not too expensive (<£30 IIRC) from BMW, but I was waiting for over two months with no sign. Bought mine from ebay in the end. They seem quite rare though and often fetch more than they cost new! I imported two of these instead http://www.ultimatecupholders.com/ They work very well, not overly expensive, hold secure, look quite cool and are kept well out the way. Very impressed. The guy who makes them seems a top chap too. Don't recall being stuck for duty either.

mit
http://www.ultimatecupholders.com/ I have something very similar from Halfords, bought for my old Alfa Romeo. It now sits in the boot of the E46 and holds a can of deodorant spray lol Only £5, made of grey plastic so matches well if you have a grey interior
pauly330
Nice find thejames. I'll be ordering a set of them I think! Got plenty to order from my dealers too - I discovered that virtually all of my interior trim clips are missing. At least all the ones in the rear of the car, which I noticed fitting my coils. Sliding tray will hide my iPhone holder nicely.
