Matt_S
Needed a touch up paint, so got one ordered (£16.50) And I noticed last night that the First Aid Box that resides under the seat has its lid missing. So, thought Id ask about a new one... Not only did they have it in stock for my car (they differ between model and electric seats too) but it was only £11 + vat! Fcukin get in! Ive told em to put it aside for me and Ill collect with the paint, as for all I know the lid was in the boot or something. Ive just checked and I cant find it anywhere, so Ill be having that Thursday! Edited May 3, 2011 by Matt_S

328Sam
I know but i was just showing you that you can get a first aid kit full of kit cheaper. Also items in a first aid kit run out of date, meaning they arent sterile anymore. Check the dates, you may need the stuff as well
scrimja
Do a DIY when you remove it because I couldn't get mine out. Fairly sure it's a seat out jobbie!

OK, I got the box last night and looking at it, it looks like you have to 'yank' the box forward. THere are two pigeon tail ('V's) on the top and Im assuming that it slides in and out with maybe a clip int he middle. Ill try it this weekend Oh and its £11.50 + vat. Cheeky baskets! Matt_S
Fitted it. Piece of pi55! You need a screw driver to wedge between the catch on the seat and the box. You'll see on the new box the hole in the middle. The re is a clip on the underside of the seat that clips in this hole. Get ya screwdriver in the hole from the box and lever it down and over the clip. It slides out nice and easy.
AustinPowered
First aid stuff doesn't really go out of date - well, anti-ceptic cream does, but thats about it.. Plasters and bandages will be fine and if there is sterile water in a kit (never actually raided on, thankfully) aslong as its not exposed to UV,it could be ten years out of date and it will be all good
