chris Posted December 8, 2011 Report Share Posted December 8, 2011 Im doing M3 front and rear ARB's, D2 M3 coilovers, and the powerflex front wishbone rear bushes. My M3 was transformed by the D2 coilovers, and ive never had that before just from coilies, but as the M has decent ARB's and a front strut brace, she went round corners like it was on rails, even for a vert! And 100mph bends were again an easy option! The std M struts are good, but no where near as good as new D2's imo. Very impressed with them. Withought pushing it so stepping out, before i could do said corner at 50mph (just), and after i could do at 65-67 on same tyres, same corner obviously. If i describe what situtation im in it might make it easyer for people to give me adive. Ive brought a BMW E46 330i m-sport touring as a stepping stone to a BMW M3. I only plan on keeping it for a few years till my 9 points drop off so im not wanting to go mad with it. All i want is to lower it a bit to remove the arch gap front and back. around 50mm front 40 back. idealy i want coilovers as i like to get my cars sitting just right. imo coming from other cars this 330i handles very well and im enjoying it. i used to be, well still am into Vdubs. where only stanced mattered and cheep ebay coilovers and a 120mm drop would do. which i hated as i like to drive hard I want to lower this car but keep the ride as good as it is. It would be nice to make it better, idealy id like to stiffen it up abit but the main thing is i don't want to make it handle worse by bolting cheep £170 coilovers onto her, im not sure on springs but dont think id get the look im after. I also feel theres a large margin of the quaitly coilover market that build coilovers just to go low and ride well on the road. can anyone think of good coilovers that will improve the handling. i started off with a buget of £150 for springs but im willing to spend more. even considering around the £700 mark for some HR twin tube coilovers. to sumerise... lower but same or better handling idealy cheep as possible anyone got any recomendations Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hold down the DSC button, the traction control light comes on then a second or two later another light comes on that looks like "( ! )" to show that ASC is switched off as well.
