C63er
Hi C63er it was me that told you about this. I know very little of London so if you know it well then we are open to advice so we got all the best spots. Have you seem the map if you could add to it that might help? The only maps I have seen are of the M25 I'll take a look today at some point at all of the tunnels and desgin a route from those We can decide how long we run for
E46charles
Would like a run that lasts a few hours even if it means doing it twice. To be fair long as i have a good time and so dose everyone else I'll be happy!
C63er
Just worked out this route Most of the tunnels are to the east and central/city Here goes Meet in a Bluewater car park for a quick noise level check A2 north to the Blackwall tunnel Then limehous link tunnel to line up with the rotherhithe tunnel Along jamacia road then over the tower bridge Then up to the barbican as ther is a nice tunnel under it Then London wall the drop onto lower Thames street then follow that to big Ben Then up horse guards then up the mall then turn right past clarance house then up st james's street onto picadilly for the Hyde park corner tunnel then regroup outside the royal Albert hall

C63er
MIT That route is gonna take hours lol even at 6pm on a Saturday getting to the mouth of the blackwall will take an age I'm going to need to refuel by the time I get there Every time I drop the gear down the AMG blips the throttle Seriously think that nine elms is the wrong starting point due to the lack of tunnels in the area, maybe have those as rendezvous points then everyone meet at blackheath? mit
It's not my starting point! I only made the route based on the starting point someone else chose! This is a better starting point... http://mital.me/zTX2lg - It's a regular street but there's plenty of parking and some decent photoshoot opportunities in that area. Means missing out on the Kingsway tunnel though, and the drive across Waterloo Bridge which is quite scenic.

kal187
That Sainsbury's isn't the best place to meet really as there aren't any tunnels near there, but if you're starting from there, my suggestion would be for you to drive along the river until you get to Waterloo, then cross Waterloo bridge and go up the Kingsway tunnell, then turn right, through Holborn and the City of London, towards Barbican, then towards Moorgate, Aldgate, Tower Hill, along the Highway towards Limehouse, through the Limehouse link, out the other side, then through the Blackwall tunnel, off at Greenwich, stop for a Nando's, then carry on through Greenwich Village, Deptford, Rotherhithe, Rotherhithe tunnel, back in Limehouse towards the Westferry roundabout, back into the Limehouse link from the half way point, and then towards the City. If you don't want to stop for Nando's, you could stop at Aldgate East for a curry instead. There's free parking at either of the stop locations I suggested at that time of night. I'd offer to lead but I'd drive too slow for you lot Guys, This sounds amazing!! I live round the corner from the rotherhithe tunnel and think mits route definitely sounds fit for purpose! I think somewhere in that route should include driving thru Piccadilly unleashing some power down the mall past the ritz and thru the tunnel towards knightsbridge, down sloane street toward sloane square then to embankment which will eventually take us thru limehouse link. Just after lime house link there is the canary wharf roundabout which is indoors so anyone who feels the need to get their drift on, feel free!!
