Quiksilver_TR
I am just setting up the VMware network settings to work with the same interface as the INPA software. I have followed the guide supplied with the ebay software, but cant get past the IP address info. on Page 29 and 30 click on the 'host virtual network mapping' tab and click on the > icon next to VMnet 2 and the click subnet configure the IP address to 192.168.68.0 and ensure the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 and click ok. click on the 'host virtual network mapping' tab and click on the > icon next to VMnet 2 and the click DHCP configure the start IP address to 192.168.68.1 and then the end IP address to 192.168.68.254 and click ok. When I click ok it gives me an error saying: End IP address is invalid. It must be less than the broadcast IP address. Any thoughts on how to fix this? BTW the broadcast IP is unmodifiable in this screen and reads 192.168,23.255. Thanks

Frobius
Bleh, just install Windows XP mode. If you don't have W7 pro or ultimate, just download a hooky copy of xp and dual boot. Sooooooo much easier!
mjn
254 is a broadcast IP and shouldn't be used for any devices, and therefore not used in any DHCP address.

chris
This is what i got stuck on, and got the guy at bmwcables to log in and sort it. As he went into something else and changed it from there, as it would not change manualy for some mad reason!
