Davey
Well back in June 2011 i started looking for my next car, i was originally going to get the E46 Coupe 318. However commuting to work and doing a fair few miles i decided to go diesel. Coupes were out of price range so i changed my mind and set me heart on a saloon. In August i found the one! Called up, test drove, deposit paid. Ive been using it just about every day since then and i love it!! Now for the photos. The day i went to see it, and the day i got the car First things first. get used to rear wheel drive. After a corsa 1.2 sxi this was a real change. Next was sort the puncture Then the swirl flap... so i put her in my garage and set to work then got her back together Then got some photos Next up waas the plate delete and chrome indicator bulbs

Next up got new handbrake shoes and backing plates then a flat tyre.. typical

Davey
Week before my mot i replaced the front anti roll bar bushes, so followed an online tutorial.. and made my own ramps; Then the mot, failed on handbrake being lose, rear brake pipes and 2 rear shocks. so got that all replaced and stored! Happy days! This week i started to paint the grilles black, while respraying the front of my bonnet and getting a new BMW badge at last! Davey
Looking good, love the DIY ramps!! Lot of graft put in already. Prefered the MV2 wheels to all the other if im honest though mate. Thanks! Yea i liked them too, but they needed refurbed really badly, had two weld repairs and needed new tyres so i just buy new wheels when i need tyres and sell the old ones, ive not bought a tyre in ages and when i sell a set of wheels for a new set ive never put more money to it. So money up in a way, but ill get another set of MV2's one day. Dont really like black wheels look chavy but ill wear the tyres down a bit first. mb15
Don't blame you wearing the tyres down a bit, gotta get your monies worth! Out of the others wheels the black ones don't look half bad, would look good in silver or maybe a gun metal colour. Obviously more cash though... cars always end up draining the wallet one way or another!! How come you didn't run the beyerns? nice lookin wheel. Michael Lam
Nice to see another Saloon owner here, we all know they are the best Loving the colour too, I'd have gone for that colour if I could find one for condition and price of mine which is silver. Got any other plans at all for it? Some Angel Eyes would set the car off nicely.
