starkie7
Can't you just clean out the inlet manifold and stuff yourself? +2 I've done it on both my 330ds. Not a 10 minute job but really not too hard either and only need basic tools. I got my pressure washer on it, plus various cleaning agents and got as much out as I could. Disconnected the egr so a lot less crap goes back in. One less thing to think about.
alfy
ok that sounds like something i dont mind arsing about with, thanks guys, however i am still at a loss with reguards the gearbox and its 'cattle gridding' occasionally it vibrates like buggery just like driving over a cattle grid and if i let off the throttle and then reapply even just a tiny bit it sorts itsself out and might not do it again for a few miles or may do it off the next roundabout no rhyme or reason to the thing, i cant force it to replicate the problem no matter what i try which is really odd i will get started on clearing the crap out of the manifold etc asap and let you know the results (fingers crossed for a good result)
