Ozz 318ci Posted January 22, 2013 Report Share Posted January 22, 2013 Hey folks, I'm new to South shields, well, I'm new to the "Mainland" as I know it. I'm at the marine college in South shields so living there now in student halls so buzzing about the prospect of actually attending car meets and meeting new people. (lived on the Isle of arran for the past 15 years) I don't see any information of a meet anywhere near me but if you're anywhere near and fancy a cruise/pub lunch kind of thing one weekend please put forward any suggestions. Kind of hard to organise and even write this as I've never been to a car meet let alone organised one hehe. Would be nice to meet a few fellow BMW owners or any car enthusiast as I don't really know anybody out of college locally and I'm sure there are others not too far from south shields who would like to do the same. Suchhh a culture change so I'd quite happily come down to teeside! it aint too far! I'm pretty sure I outdo Feva's panels with my missmatch wheels and half a sideskirt currently (Top of my to do list, waiting on 50 posts so I can post in the selling/buying section) And as for where this might be, I have no Idea. I don't even know the local area, just wondered if there was a few people not too far away that would be interested in meeting and as of where would be up to them. Teesside sounds good to me if we said not next weekend but one day the weekend after that gives a fair bit of notice. What's everyone's thoughts on that? Doesn't seem to be anymore people responding and thread gone kinda quiet so thought either the 16th or 17th.
