lms are done to death, like what you said

would rather get lmr, but they are hard too find.

but if i had the choice i would go for the bbs rs any time.

WTF.........

All BBS LM reps. Seems like they break more often than Rota's are supposed to .I would guess most people rammed into a curb, but to think if you hit a curb you have a f**ked wheel, disk, potentially wheel bearing and hub. I wouldn't risk it

Let alone them looking like they're made out of cheap plastic

the scaremongerinng doesnt phase me in the slightest, it was just a topic asking which style you prefer

I do 6 miles to work down a country lane usually following a tractor so i aint gonna be living on the motorway doing 20k a year :)

Well, there's 4 broken BBS LM rep pictures in this thread, so someone needs to provide a balanced amount of extremely damaged BMW wheels. So I'd say there probably 0.2% of E46's using BBS LM reps, so to be balanced someone needs to provide 2000 pictures of extremely damaged BMW wheels

Just to be balanced

Jay for the love of god please be more original :P BBS LM's look like they're plastic, BBS RS reps in 18's don't look right. Just get some Style 5's in 17's

its all personal pref dude, i personally really like LM reps, swaying more towards them as the 18" RS reps are 9.5 rears & dont fancy putting a 225 40 tyre on a 9.5, 9J of the LM's is pushing it really

No need for a balanced argument on the damage either as i never disagreed they bend, just said the scaremongering doesnt bother me.

i could get cancer tomorrow but i choose not to worry myself too much.

This one is a treat:

http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-forums/x5-e70-forum/39225-slow-puncture-reveals-cracked-alloy-rim-update-2.html

P.S. i wasn't suggesting that the original wheels are weak, just that these few pictures of reps in bits crop up everywhere and nobody can say what happened to the cars before the images were taken.

Still think the LM's look great, classic wheels that won't ever go out of fashion.
