Members Wheels..........

Recommended Posts

This will give people a good idea of what their E46 would look like with different sized alloys and some

of you have some pretty awesome looking ones too..........so post pics of your car as best you can and the

type of wheel, plus its size, don't worry if someone has already posted say a CSL alloy, because the car will

look different depending if its a coupe / Saloon, been lowered or has a bodykit, different colours.........blaa blaa.

What would be useful for people too is if you post:

The Year Of The Car

Model Of The Car

Offset's Front and Rear

Rim width

Profile

Archwork required (rolled or pulled)

Size Of The Alloy

Model Of Alloy /Replica or Original.

That way people can gather all the info they need on a wheel and get a really good idea of what will fit and what needs modification.

Try and keep images to a reasonable size so they load faster if you can.

Ta!

So get posting!!!

Ps, without sounding like an old lady.....this thread is to inform people so if poss could we keep the chit chat to a minimum and relevant to the thread.......(Yea I know.......Kettle/Pot)....... ;)

What a great idea Steve...... I'll start then - unless someone has posted while I have been typing this ;)

I have been kind enough for a family member to have bought me a nice new set of wheels in payment for things I have done this last few weeks.

The Year Of The Car - 2002

Model Of The Car - 330d Sport

Offset's Front and Rear - 36 Front & Back

Profile - 235/35

Archwork required (rolled or pulled) - Not needed for these alloys, but mine have been done

Size Of The Alloy - 19"

Model Of Alloy /Replica or Original - Replica

The car is on standard sports suspension which sits really nice at the moment.

Great idea dude, should prove to be a very comprehensive guide if everyone can fill in all the info... I have also added the rim width as this would be useful for future enquiries.

Anyway.....

The Year Of The Car - 2003

Model Of The Car - 330ci Clubsport

Rim width - 8j front & 8.5j rear

Offset's Front and Rear - front ET47 rear ET50

Profile - 225/40 fronts & 255/35 rears

Archwork required (rolled or pulled) - No mods required.... plenty of room

Size Of The Alloy - 18"

Model Of Alloy /Replica or Original. - original BMW (type 71) clubsport staggered 2 piece split rims.

Only other things to mention about this wheel is from the factory they come with a polished lip which will corrode like a mutha f*cker. I had my lips painted silver and the centres done dark grey with a smoke chrome highlight on the spokes.

Great idea dude, should prove to be a very comprehensive guide if everyone can fill in all the info... talking of which, does anyone know where i can find out the offset of my genuine clubsport rims?

Original they are 8x18 ET47 front and 8.5x18 ET50 rears.

As for corroding polished lips, pink windowlene is awesome for that and will keep them look tip-top.

I'm obviously stupid but how do you find out this info from your wheels, if i whisper to them will they spill the beans ;):D

Your's are style 135M mate, come with a staggered fitment on sport models, 8j front, 8.5 j rear. I would imagine the offsets are same as mine but not 100%

You are correct buddy. The genuine staggered 18" wheels for the E46 were the same offsets.

The rest of the information Diddler you can get of your tyres, but yours should be something like:

WOW, those are pure sex mate!

Differance between rolled and pulled, is the rolling is done on the inside, the pulling pulls the arch out to give you even MORE room.
