oli8925 Posted October 9, 2015 Report Share Posted October 9, 2015 Does anyone know of any BMW breakers or spare parts guys in Kent, ideally around Ashford way? A month ago someone went into the back of my touring and dented the bumper, tailgate and busted the rear screen demist. Despite being confirmed 100% not at fault, in fact they 'aced' the claim right from the word go, my insurers want to write the car off and have offered a pretty crap payout which I certainly won't be taking. Back to the point, if we do agree on a value for total loss I'll most likely buy the car back and repair it, so could do with a local supply of parts. Think I might just tell my insurance company to repair the car at third party's expense. It's the wrong time for me to be looking at other cars as I may reduce my daily commute from 70 to 5 miles in a few months in which case I'll sell the diesel and look at petrol, plus I'm already sick of 'negotiating' the price with them. Obviously they've gone in fairly low but I had no idea how rare my spec (apparently) is on a 320d Touring. Try finding another with full leather, sat nav and xenon lights among other bits.
