LJColeman Posted January 28, 2016 Report Share Posted January 28, 2016 Hi guys, Some of you may remember me from back a few years ago (2012) when I had a E46 318, pic below - I sold that many years ago & have had many cars in between! Clio 197, 2x R53's, Mini Paceman etc. Well I'm hopefully going to be back in a E46 soon! I'm going to look at a 2002 prefacelift E46 325ci auto Msport. Currently looking at moving out so need a more practical - larger vehicle. + Mrs couldn't reach the pedals in my R53 because of bucket seats lol! The car I'm going to view has full dealer history, 114k & looks pretty tidy. Going to View & hopefully purchase this Sunday. If do, mods will as follow - Led rear lights (facelift) Angel eyes Hid conversion Tidying up what needs to be done Etc etc Maybe new wheels!! What's your thoughts? I've gotten myself into vehicle detailing over the past 4 years, so I'm looking to make the car immaculate & very Oem! So, where's the best place to get Oem looking led rear lights & front angel eyes? That will be my first improvements [emoji5] The mini I'm selling if anyone's interested..... What are the plans Yeah it's in very good condition for the age/mileage, it needs a proper ocd clean to get it to my standard, and looks like the front bumper could do with a paint. But bodywork and arches etc is spot on, no rust at all, 4 new tyres & all the MV1's have just been refurbed. Result. Plans are, xenons or hid's, angel eyes, Led rear lights, Led interior lights, dynavin style head unit. First bits are get all the lights sorted! & give it a good detail. Managed to give the interior a quick clean today before the rain! Relocation panel has also arrived, LED angel eyes from SSDD have arrived, New MSport lower grill has arrived. Just waiting on LED rear lights, HID's & adapters to come now! Am looking at getting some myself, also just waiting for an offer on an xtrons Android quad core headunit hopefully they'll get back to me soon, but your motor looks well mate the led rear lights make a massive difference!! The Xtrons unit is the once ive brought, Was £199 - Looks mint in the box, Will be fitting it saturday so will report back how it goes! Ive not got projectors yet, But the HID'd ive got are SunWolf ones, Ive used them for years in various cars, only £16 a set & there the best & best fitting ive ever used. LJColeman Posted February 8, 2016 Author Report Share Posted February 8, 2016 Just got a Oil filter & washers from work, Along with 10 litres of Mobil 5w-30 so i can do a oil change next weekend, Also got a set of genuine BMW spark plugs as i think the originals have been in since new as far as i can tell!! LJColeman Posted February 9, 2016 Author Report Share Posted February 9, 2016 Not sure if my coolant thermostat is on its way out or not - Drove the car to work this morning & it hardly got hot, Gauge stayed at approx 1/4, raised up to 1/2 way when i floored it but then soon dropped back down to 1/4.
