__D6
Hello folks, About to remove my faulty CCV system and replace with an oil catch can and PCV valve. All of the threads I can find are american and use this FRAM part : http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/MGD0/PCV345.oap?year=2000&make=Dodge&model=Intrepid&vi=1361898&ck=Search_02180_1361898_-1&pt=02180&ppt=C0023#itemDetailTab_ I've tried getting hold of this in the UK and the cheapest I can find it is £46 and the local Chrysler dealer was zero help. So, what PCV valve will be suitable for this? I've seen mention of a 1.8 turbo Volkswagon one but it seems a bit plasticy and only mentioned in 1 thread. Cheers, Matt
Ross330i
I got my pcv valve from a mx5 mk1 on ebay with the pipes for 4 quid. The pipes fit my catch can ebay 22 quid, aslong as its a pvc valve I dont think it matters which model or make aslong as it works, air one way no return.
