neil holden
I HAVE A 2003 E46 CONVERTIBLE WHICH HAS ENGINE MANAGEMENT ISSUES. FAULT CODES ARE O2 SENSORS AND AIR FLOW METER. O2 SENSORS HAVE BEEN CHANGED BUT FAULT CODES PERSIST. CAR RUNS FINE WITH AIR FLOW METER UNPLUGGED BUT MISFIRES WHEN ITS CONNECTED. I HAVE FIITED A NEW AIR FLOW METER AND THE CAR IS EXACTLY THE SAME. FINE UNPLUGGED BUT MISFIRES WHEN CONNECTED. CAN ANYONE HELP ? THE CAR IS A 325 CI. Edited August 13, 2018 by neil holden

2clubsp
Very carefully check the rubber boot between the MAF and the throttle body for a split. You'll need a mirror and a torch. Most likely the cause.
