Andrew Paton
Hi Forum left my drivers window open , it rained and the LCM got wet , lost my lights indicators and hazzards , took the module out and dried it off everything started working again , happy days , however it stopped working again today , should i persevere ? or can i just buy one off ebay and slot it in ? i realise there might be programming issues , the car is 16 years old so I'm probably going to be the last owner . thanks
Daniel.
Its probably corroded inside, Id take it apart and clean it with isopropyl alcohol. You could replace it but it would need coded, and the mileage and stuff is stored in it so will be much easier to fix it
