Question About Paint Remover

Recommended Posts

Mask them off, and wipe any excess off before it has chance to work through and you should be okay.

Its like a thick paint, so take your time with a smaller brush and you'll be fine

Why are you removing the lacquer? Surely you'd be better off wet sanding it smooth and then spraying over it if you're refurbing your wheels. If you're stripping back to bare metal you should remove the tyres or you'll end up with tiny traces of nitromors staying on the rim where it meets the tyre, and your paint will end up peeling as well as the wheel alloy corroding.

Mit this is an old thread, tyres were removed and wet sanding wouldn't work as most of the lacquer was destroyed sostarting at bare metal was a must lol

Re Dodge Caravan Part - Post deleted!!!

Crazy fool trying to get around the for sale rules me thinks. Obviously a UK BMW forum will have a massive requirement for US Dodge Caravan Parts - Aidan may have some friends or family that may be interested but thats about it.
