Mark's 330 orient 'vert

Recommended Posts

ive introduced myself before and posted a few pics, some went well, some went not so well but its all good :)

so how i bought it,

20130527_103441_zps85e831c1.jpg

washed, polished, waxed (and plates that people dont like!)

20130603_194938_zpsde45411a.jpg

and then 2 weeks or so ago the roof decided to break...result because of this bad knot. new kit ordered and replaced

20130610_185411_zpsd3d6d1d3.jpg

leaving the lining looking like..

20130610_185145_zps4b40f68c.jpg

then this evening i decided to get busy and get it sorted..

20130624_190838_zpsd57d2d0e.jpg

and now its all done! just need to sort the hole out, my mum is a seamstress, so easy fix for her..

20130624_214846_zps60eb3e22.jpg

and last Monday I sorted this little b'stard..

20130617_223839_zpsaaef0573.jpg

took me best part of 90 minutes to do that, little soddin thing! haha so far ive learned a bit about the car, and if anyone ever needs help with batwings im more than willing to help out, it really isn't that difficult :)

also, since i've had it Rich has sorted my maps and firmware out (top man), multiple layers of polish/wax/sealant (not in that order!) and gliptone'd the seats.

there'll be plenty more to come, i thought i was positive about the plates, but i may just get onto fancyplates, and the wheels will be refurb'd soon too. i like the LM's and the CSL's, but then thats some serious outlay.

only a quick snippet, ill add more pics as i go, and cheers for C&C. im enjoying the site so far :punk:

The vert looks sweet mate...... good job repairing the hood!

cheers, didnt take that long to fix, saved myself £££'s!!

Love the colour, looks really nice. What's wrong with the plates?

pressed German DIN font. i thought they looked pretty sweet online, the front is small in size and looks aggressive but im beginning to have doubts myself lol just how it goes! haha

Rich sorting out my firmware and maps, the day after i bought it!

What is he doing when he 'sorts' them out? What was wrong in the first place? How did you know something needed 'sorting'?

The maps & firmware can be updated, most people still have the original map disc from the factory, which is now massively out of date, plus there are firmware updates to give more features

I'm not sure.. the "string" bit has snapped like yours, and the lining flaps around which is very annoying for me and for the rear passengers!

in profile im not sure if the wheels look small, but the front arch gap is evident with new wheels :/
i love the look, and imo compliment the aggressive look of the 46. c&c welcome

Mine are 18s simmlar design & with the coilovers everyone thinks there 19" as arch gap kills good wheels IMO! I had these same wheels on my clubsport in 19" & felt they were too big
