  1. Hi All, The other week I lowered my vert and took the fronts down by about a quarter (quarter of the allowed drop) - but the other day I went over a bump very slowly and heard/felt a huge metal crash, not sure what it was but after that I'm not risking it anymore... I didn't fit the coilovers myself, but if I want to adjust them, will I be able to do so just by removing the wheel, or will I need to unbolt the shock etc to do it... Guess I just want it raised up another half or something but can't get hold of the original guy to do it for me! Annoying. Anyway, any help would be great! Thanks! 2. obviously Im not sure what your house looks like...

but cameras are usually put up high, and I wouldn't want to be climbing ladders to retrieve/change the SD card... also, its a 60cm power cable.. so factor that in... without a monitor, how will you know its recording? I'd constantly be wondering if its working or not!

I would be looking at full kits... I havent read through the whole listing, but maybe see this... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PRIMUS-1-CAMERA-160GB-CCTV-KIT-CNM-SECURE-DVR-HOME-SECURITY-SYSTEM-INTERNET-DIY-/181203986382?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Other&hash=item2a309967ce

its the cheapest I can see, so dont know how good it is...

    Personally I have this .... http://www.maplin.co.uk/4-channel-320gb-network-dvr-with-2x-night-vision-cameras-and-smart-phone-access-632889

    and I love it!

    Hope this helps.

  3. I had done about 2 miles in it :) - so waiting a week or so for it to settle... well I went with the cheap option because it was what most people suggested on here... We spend so much money on petrol that we can't afford the expensive stuff! Haha! I know what your saying though! For the price - If they last a year then I'll be happy :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

  4. Be interested to see what you think of the coilovers, as I've been contemplating getting some. Lovely car by the way, although I'm slightly bias :-D

Thanks dude :) was starting to think my thread was invisible as it never gets any comments! - it must be a boring one ;) hopefully i'll have the coilovers done soon! Everybody on here raves about them! so we shall see!!

Mods - Can I change the title of the thread??

  5. Lemforder ones, from here >>> http://www.allgermanparts.co.uk/ourshop/cat_289663-E46-steering-parts-suspension-arms-and-mountings.html The Meyle ones have a design issue that can cause knocking, whereas the Lemforder ones are the same as BMW ones

Thanks Rich.. Am I right in thinking it's these ones?? http://www.allgermanparts.co.uk/ourshop/prod_2584657-Top-suspension-mount-front-Lemfoerder-25978-01.html Do they all need replacing when I get coilovers? Does anybody still use the oem ones?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  6. Well it says local drive, so round the towns I guess.. Thing is, out here they are more relaxed, less police, no speed cameras... Not sure a 21 year old asking for a Ferrari test drive would work out so well haha!! I couldn't get full details from the guy at the time as he was just looking after the cars whilst th other was on his lunch... So, we are going back into the area later and I will ask some more questions! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

  7. Here on holiday and have the opportunity to drive a 360! €160 for 20 minutes driving time... No Highway... Recon it'll be worth it or just be a poodle along drive? They seem laid back enough, but the highway one is about €220, and I can't really afford that! - I'll check if they have insurance as if I have an accident, I'm not replacing a Ferrari!! They also have a Lambo and a 911... But they're more expensive! Decisions....?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
