Cranking longer than normal before it starts. But after a few stops and abnormal crank-starts during the day, it gets to a point where cranking carries on without any start! So when it gets to a point that I realise she won't start, I connect jumper leads to the battery, and everytime I follow this process, she starts, although the battery is still strong enough to do the trick. (the jump start is to prevent battery crank flat) Although I suspect the problem to be in the fuel rail (sensor) or (pressure regulator) or fuel pump, I have a "dumb" question to ask? I know very little of electronics but, can it be that the jumper leads/batteries "stronger combination boost", cause either of these rail components to come to the party? I did this exercise succesfull on numerous occasions (I'm actually driving around with the jumpers in the trunk specifically for this occasional bail-outs)...and it worked everytime!! Anyone more normal than me to advise me plse?
