Keith
I'd forget buying from the net. You want 100% pure Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) as it leaves absolutely no residue - most MAF cleaners are just IPA anyway. You can get a big can with a spray straw from your local Maplins for about £8. Jonny
I used Contact cleaner on mine which a lot of people recommend and i figure is the same as MAF cleaner. Just dont whatever you do think you can clean the sensor with a cotton bud. Not matter how gentle you think you can be. The wires are very very very brittle and will snap. So likewise be careful if you use a straw on the nozzle to not get too close. I learnt all this the hard way and it cost me a new MAF.

Keith
bought contact cleaner from halfords for £3.99... will look at it when i have time.. Make sure you read the contents - some contact cleaners have a very small amount of lubricating film in and you DO NOT want this - it will leave a residue on your MAF. It must be pure IPA. bip78
Isopropyl Alcohol is the best. I buy it in litres from my Pharmacy

B33MER
CRC MAF Cleaner is still the best ... I'm surprised it's hard to get that stuff in the UK. Having said that you can use CRC contact cleaner too ...

Failing that id check your intake boots for cracks and if you dont find any then its new MAF time.
RAV
I had a hole in it before that just got replaced 2 months ago also changed a lamba sensor. I think it will be the maf as it nocks lean bank 2 and that beenc changed. just spoke to a mate at dealers said give it a clean and see what happens, Car runs fine without the induction so that may need a clean plus i think car is due a oil service aswell.
