In Car Hands Free!!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I would post a link but aint got a scooby how to do it????

Missus flicked over to a shopping channel today and they were advertising a handsfree bit of kit called "Jupiter Jack" which basically plugs into your phone, you set your car radio to 99.3 and then a call transmits thru ya speakers!!!!

Is this crap, does anyone have one, any good????

It probably sucks, and is probably limited to particular phones.

It's not really hands free either, since you still have to touch the phone to answer a call.

Dont you have to press a button to answer all hands free calls????? Doesnt it just mean that you dont need to hold the phone while chatting??? and cant you set your phone to auto answer after 3 rings???? Maybe I'm wrong.........

Anyway, just looked it up on google and its had terrible reviews....................... and some customers even being ripped off!!!!

Well the add on the box was for £39.99 for 2 plus 2 phone holders but I looked it up on google and the yanks are saying it was 10$ for 2????

Have a browse on egay, you could pick up a Parrot (bluetooth kit, not a talking bird :D) for not much more. CK3000 go for about 50 quid

Not really, just a case of plugging it all in, running the mic to wherever you want it, connecting the remote switch on to an empty slot in the fuse box (easier than it sounds), mounting the buttons and hiding the control box behind the glove box

i have a jabra hands free no wires fits on the sunvisor has noise cancel and you can also tune it to a set mode and have it come through the car speakers. This also doubles up so you can play your music thats on your phone through the speakers. Gets great reviews and is only about 35 quid on amazon
