Hayes
I just picked up my new E46 which has the full beige leather interior but with non-sport seats. They're on the options list in the service book and are marked as "Hellbeige 2". I'm after getting some sport seats and I obviously want them in the same colour so my question is, how many types of beige/cream seats did BMW produce? I don't want to end up buying the wrong type of beige! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
mit
Yeah good luck finding those. I'm convinced drivers with beige seats never write their cars off because they rarely come up for sale at all (sport or otherwise). There's only one beige that I know of. People call it beige, cream, tan but it's all the same. But then people also call champagne cream as well, so really you have to see before you buy to make sure. Hayes
They seem to crop up on eBay every couple of weeks but it's finding a mint set that seems to be the trouble. I guess I will just have to match them up with the rest of my interior before handing over any money. Ah well I'll keep my eye out. Cheers. DJ Syxx
Just keep looking or have you tried a BM breakers like Quarry Motors or Fab Direct?
mit
The closest I have come to a mint set are actually far from mint, and still cost me £425, and aren't even sport seats or heated. I bought them last week.
Hayes
Just keep looking or have you tried a BM breakers like Quarry Motors or Fab Direct? Yeah I have tried Quarry. Most of them are far from mint and seem to snapped up pretty quickly. I'll keep looking.
mit
You'll be looking forever Remember even the newest leather interior on the E46 has 5 years of wear on it now.
