I'm about to install an amp and focal speakers all round. Other than that I'm mainly going to work on keeping it running perfectly and detailing. I use to own a green E46 318i I had to sell because I couldn't get insurance at the time. Couple of months later I decided it was time to buy the real Straight 6 e46 I've always just dreamt about. So now, I'm a proud and happy owner of a 2002 BMW 320i (2.2L) M54B22 with 170hp stock. builtinbritain Posted December 27, 2015 Report Share Posted December 27, 2015 Bonsoir, I'm jay, 34 from southwest.Ex military man...a bit crazy on bikes too.Got a thing for BM's and am on my 2nd BMW at the moment and to be honest driveability wise I prefer my old E46 compact that i have now in comparison to my old car 1 series m-sport+ cabriolet (yes I've gone backwards in time). Many here from down south or more to the point any compact owners about as there seems to be a lot of coupe/saloon owners around. OcaToro Posted December 28, 2015 Report Share Posted December 28, 2015 Evening, Dan... recently moved to north Devon and just bought a 325ci had an e30 318 cabrio on a k plate in neonbaum with the blue piped sport cloth interior then an e30 320 2dr which we rebuilt/replaced everything aside engine and box. she had the grey/green houndstooth sport interior and my last bmw was a few year ago now, a 328 touring (e36), cosmos black with tan leather sport interior.. only natural then to get an e46 with sport interior! anyone else around north devon? ilfracombe/barnstaple/etc? definitely a fair crop of e46 round these parts Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

330Tourer Posted January 2, 2016 Report Share Posted January 2, 2016 (edited) Hi Just bought my second e46 330. This time a 330i Touring Sport. Lucky enough to to find a low mileage example with less than a handful of owners. Gone for an auto this time too and I'm loving the smoothness. Ive just changed disks and pads all round for pagid to overcome a little braking wobble. Touched in some minor bodywork too. Also sorted the notorious temperature sensor. Bushes next..... about me? Married, almost teenage son, dog. Business owner and cyclist (mountain bike and BMX). Bedfordshire based, would like to know about any meets not too many miles away. My first was a alpine white ac schnitzer e36 318is... Had this car for 8 years. Then I bought my black e46 318ci three years ago. I use to be a regular on a forum called e36coupe.com and bmwland.com... E36coupe sadly became a graveyard as people moved on to newer bmw's or other makes... Shame really as we use to have regular meets. Would be good if we could do the same here.... Bmwland again sadly closed as the site owner lost his battle with an illness.. He was and his site was a top bloke... glad to see a uk based site up.... Would be great to get members to have regular meets.... Summer bbq's and pub meets... Mugs Posted January 26, 2016 Report Share Posted January 26, 2016 Hi all, I'm Mugs and a newbie to this forum. my wife has just bought an 325 sport vert for us to share in the summer and i am currently in the process of getting it up together ready for the warmer weather. a bit about and my wife...... we both have Subaru Imprezas as daily drivers, my wife has a 2001 classic and i have a 2007 hawkeye. we also have a Z3 which was the summer car but after slipping a disc in my back i am finding increasingly uncomfortable to drive hence buying the 46 to replace it. the vert is our 3rd BMW having also owned an E30 325i a few years ago. the car is a 2001 pre-face 325ci sport convertible in sapphire black with black leather, full history and 80k on the clock. at the moment it is in my garage being fully cleaned and mopped as we both have a bit of OCD when it comes to cars being clean and tidy. i am also in the process of replacing the carbon cube with silver trim to break up the black. i have removed the centre console and ashtray as the 'rubber coating' is really scratched and looks horrible. i've tried the 'scalding water & scrubbing' method to try and remove it but it is stubborn stuff and won't budge. does anyone know where i can get new replacement ones from? we're looking forward to the summer when we can get some roof down driving in and also looking forward to being part of this forum.
