Sadly my halfords ratchet set wasn't upto the job (and i was scared the car was going to fall on my head) so ill have to get someone else to look at it. I wanted a red one when i was buying but couldn't find a sport and not being the sort of sensible patient type that will wait i bought my topaz blue one which i do like. I had all sorts of ideas for my touring but not really done anything apart from fitting some spider reps which i think really suit it. Tourings rule! Btw, where in the world are you? Got the ride height sorted so its sitting better now! Ordered some stickers from America and stuck it on my rear window Got the rear of my car in performance bmw mag! Ordered some yellow tint film and covered my fogs, wasn't sure if I'd like it but I think I do Did have a list of odd jobs to do on it but its raining and cold so they will have to wait! Paddybrown23 Posted February 9, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 9, 2013 (edited) So today me and a mate attempted to wrap my grills, wanted to try something different so I did this: Considering I have no patients and fingers like sausages I was really proud of our efforts! Then I tried them on the car and it looked awful so peeled it off and sulked! Then we decided to fit my spacers back on, this is the results: Really should start using my camera rather then my crappy iPhone. I've put the 12mm on the rear and the 15mm up front as the 15's were rubbing on the rear. Went for a drive and the 12mm on the back are still rubbing slightly, sod it, it will wear its self away eventually won't it? Not sure what else to do with it now, anyone got any ideas? I think it would look good if the grills matched the colour of the car but the ones I did were to much of a contrast and it looked awful! Just ordered some gloss black wrap so gonna give that a go!
