BMW E46 325ti Sport

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I'm new here.

I just got a 2004/2005 bmw 325ti M tagged. Unfortunately the manual in written in German.

Although it comes with a remote control key to open the doors and boot, I am very concerned about the anti-theft facility of the car.

Does it have factory (in-built) immobiliser? If yes, where is it located and how does it work?

I don't know a great deal about the alarm, all I know is that it's activated by the BMW button on the key.

UPDATE - WED 21/03/12

Its been a little while.

Eibach Sportlines bought for the car after I discovered I had a broken OE Rear spring, finally got round to getting them fitted.

Purchased an OE BMW Business CD unit from a member on here, which continues to allow me to also use the changer in the boot.

Purchased spme some 12mm Hubcentric spacers from Rik for the front to match the 20mm on the rear

Eliminated the notchiness I sometimes got from the box by changing the gearbox oil to some REDLINE stuff from Opie oils.

Got a full BMW Insp 2 service done on monday (including Oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, plugs and cabin filter)

Changed the ugly standard wipers for OE Bosch Aero blades

Bought and fitted x2 New Falkens for the rear

New Boot handle due to the common corroded rear number plate light contacts

New Sidelight bulb holders due to old ones cracking from age

Painted brakes again in silver

Wee polish and a wax

Wow that is a truly stunning compact ben!

the first owner was pretty keen with the options list!

Tell me about it, all the better for me haha.

I honestly have not seen another 325ti with the same spec.
