I changed the speakers to no avail so figured someone had bodged the wiring and never got around to looking at it properly. I need one of these kits now lol Stan, you might be able to repair it yourself. As your speakers still actually have power going to it, then you might just have to clean the circuit board. There is a part of the circuit board that starts getting this white residue on it. I have attached a picture. The picture shows a little, but I have seen that whole part of the circuit board covered in it. Buy some Electronic Cleaning Solvent Isopropanol from maplins. Get a tooth brush, and rub the circuit board where you see in the picture, and also the back of the unit, as you get some residue there aswell. Only use enough to clean it. Dont over do it. Dry it with a blow drier, but dont get it too hot. Leave it overnight, and replace back in the casing. If you still getting the same problem, then my repair will be able to fix your problem.
