Quad Exhaust On Touring?

Recommended Posts

I'm sure I've read somewhere that to fit an M3 back box you need to cut into the car quite a bit and mod your fuel tank or floor pan in some way.

That's one of the things a lot of folk forget, an M might look like its non M counterpart but it's almost completely a different car. It'd be interesting to compare say the number of common parts between say a 330Ci Clubsport and an M3 of the same year and the 330 and a 316i! I tell you what, I'd not be surprised if there were SIGNIFICANTLY more common parts between the two non-M cars! But I digress...

I don't mind a custom backbox but don't want really wide spacing

why would you want it to look like an m3 backbox out of interest why not do it similar to the e9x modles twin round one either side of the car

i guess that would look alright. I just don't want it to look halfords. Just very oem +. ive seen the quad exhausts spaced really wide to the edges of the bumper and it looked really wrong, the M3 ones look very standard but imo much better
