Wash
Was looking at the unused spare.. And that's pretty bright silver! That's what I'm thinking also.. Would like to go almost diamond cut! But know a diy close to that would be a bit difficult, lol! Diamond cut really wouldn't work well on a wheel like that, IMO diamond cut wheels work best on wheels with thin spokes. I think instead of refurbing these you should go for those wheels you posted a link to a while ago!
Aly
When funds allow I will, as need to change the pants tyres! As the refurb will be free I thought why not..

Dr T
looks really good mate, last time i washed mine i instantly remembered why i bought it in the first place, S-Line kitted audi's do look good. as an added bonus just found out today that audi offer fixed priced servicing on cars older than 3 years and less than 2.0l, £149 for an oil serivce and general look over, not bad for a dealer stamp in the book, especially as mine only has 50,000 miles on the clock. Really liking the look of your A6, might be the next car when i want a little more luxury around me on the drive to work. Aly
Cheers mate... Thanks for the info! I'll look into it, I got 3 years servicing with the car... But dunno what it covers exactly!
Dr T
just remembered yours is a 2.7 so the fixed price servicing isnt any use anyway. still its nice to know they're reasonably priced. last year when i had it serviced for the first time since i bought it i didn't even check dealer prices, just assumed it'd be a rip off so went to my preferred indie. think i paid over £150 for an oil service then though. i'm getting increasingly jealous of your diesel-ness. i'm driving like a granny just to see an average of 32 - 33 mpg Edited May 9, 2012 by Dr T
Aly
Oh well... I'm assuming that it's cheaper for 2.0ltr and below??? TBH I'm only doing town driving atm and am getting crap consumption... No benifit to a diesel unless your doing the miles! Last week I got 26mpg adv... WTF! Aly
Couple of jobs done today that were doing my man boobs in Condensation in rear lens.. Dried it out and sealed it round the edges with some silicone seal! I guess time and the Scottish weather will tell if It's worked.. Before After Also fitted some new Bosch Wiper blades, as the old ones had seen better days! Then gave the car a good wash and HD wax.. Rain-X applied and tyres dressed! Aly
Well that didn't last long... Condensation is back and It's not even rained yet! I don't know what I'm more shocked at, the condensation being back or the fact It's not rained since the weekend!?
