Ben-
Thanks mate. Just bought one for £17 delivered. Will the digital screen be fully functional or will it just be the buttons that work?

Ben-
Just received my panel. I'm guessing the AUTO button will not work after upgrading from a manual panel?
B0B
It will be fully functional chap, the part you are fitting has the electronics to control all of it. Stop taking pics of it and get it fitted, it just pops off/on

Ben-
Just fitted it but air only seems to be blowing onto the windscreen even if I have it on face or feet settings. Any ideas?

Tommy89
Hi there bensambrook I too did this upgrade I have exactly the same issue air direction stuck on windscreen no direction changes perhaps we have to get hold of the later type 10 button unit or so I'm told! Thought it'd be too easy to plug & play ha! Please let me know if any1 resolves this issue,. Thanks tom,..
Scottfreee3
The car needs additional motors. Won't work 100%. Will do climate control but won't change directedt
Ben-
I completely forgot about it, I rarely change the direction of the heaters anyway. As long as face and windscreen work then I don't mind living with it.
dave65
the one i fitted is the later type and the auto setting works fine, as does the screen setting and the one that directs onto you face but i can't get any air out of the floor vents not that i'm bothered i don't use them anyway. if i have it on auto it blows air from the screen and face vents, but if i use the selection buttons on the left i can only have one working at at time. there is no way you will get all the functions to work as the manual heater cars only have 3 servo motors and the digital ones have
Matt82
sorry to bump an old post with a daft question. I have the same unit as the OP with the knobs on. Ive seen 2 different units 1 with 10 buttons that's quite bulky and another with 12 buttons that's much smaller. So im guessing the 12 button is the newer of the 2. Now will it be the same easy, plug and play fit as OP suggested with both types or will 1 be a bigger job like what ive read about where people have had to remove dash and stuff? Thanks in advance
jammo
It will work just not how you think. I've done it and advise to keep the practicality of the knobs rather then the looks of the buttons Edited September 3, 2014 by jammo
