There is this pink cable labeled "BACK CTRL" What is this for? 2) How do I install the wireless camera, I'm confused, I have no idea what to do. 3) Does iPhone 4 work with it? And you can't seem to sort through artists? 1) a) no you do not need to earth it, it is earthed via the ground cable, that SHOULD be sufficient, however if you want to earth it i can't see any harm in that. back ctrl i believe is for the reversing camera power then from that to the ground that should be on the canbus, the idea being that when you put the car in to reverse it grounds out via this cable causing the camera to switch on, then the car to sense this thus showing the image on the screen, unfortunately i have not had any luck with this, but that said i've not tried hard. 2) as said above the wireless camera should be connected between the two pink cables and then the signal should go to the... i think brown rca connector. 3) a) yes it does, both via bluetooth and connected to the ipod in cable, no you are unable to select the album. however you are able to select a song from the playlist. this isn't to far from how the majority of headunits are. tomhartridge Posted June 30, 2012 Report Share Posted June 30, 2012 right, i believe that your reversing camera is powered by the pink cables, as they're what tells the unit to turn the reversing camera on. if that doesn't work then you need to connect the pink cable on the radio to the cable that comes from the gearstick... and unfortunately i cannot tell you what that is. but i'm sure someone else can. if i'm wrong anyone feel free to correct what i've said.
