Jase25
Hi all, Damo88 bro here Just got my e46 325ci sport and it's got xenons ( when I turn ignition on they self level so these are Zenons rite?) My question is! If I put hid in wil they be brighter than my current xenons or do they have the same effect ( sorry for crap question but need it clarifying)
Rob-
The self level you're describing is just the motor test the LCM does on start up. Doesn't indicate that you have xenons.
mit
You don't have Xenons. If you did, you wouldn't be looking to fit HIDs.

Rizzo
If you can adjust the height of your head lights inside the car next to the switch then you won't have xenons If you do have xenons and you want brighter then 6000k d2s bulbs is what u need
Rob-
If you do have xenons and you want less light output then 6000k d2s bulbs is what u need Edited for accuracy Frobius and Daz 330 Cs

nomis
If you have a wheel to adjust them in the car then their not self levelling so wont go up and down on start up.

The up and down on start up should happen whether they have self leveling or not, its just a motor check.

Tymm
when you turn the ignition on do you here a motor if you do then you need to get under it drivers side LCA (wishbone) and there should be a little plastic arm number 5 is what you´ll need to fix, they always get broke when people forget to disconnect it when changing the LCAB look here also http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BN11&mospid=47615&btnr=31_0409&hg=31&fg=05 Edited August 21, 2012 by Tymm
