cytefx Posted October 4, 2012 Report Share Posted October 4, 2012 So I have been looking to remove the FBW (fly by wire) accelerator pedal and on the internet there is guides but not one that explains simply the gotcha. The guides tell you to insert a screwdriver into the side of the pedal near the bottom there is an access hole, then to slide the pedal to the left. The part that is missing out of this is that the actual pedal separates from the holder that stays on the floor of the car, if i remember I will get photos later, but when removing the pedal you have to just remove the top half of the box, as the base of the box will be fixed firmly to the floor of the car.
