e46 330ci vert Posted November 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 19, 2012 ok guys,my new/used speakers have arrived. there pioneer ts-g1355 13cm 3 way speakers rated at 100w max 4ohm depth is 40mm,lol now before you lot start! i know these are not gonna be mind blowing. the rear speakers in my vert aint too bad for oem,so i thought an upgraded speaker may sound even better. plan is to use them off the hu "un amped" just to give some tune up Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I bought some small 4" infinity speakers for the rear, and they were less than 40mm depth and they wouldn't fit. The magnet touched the back before I could get anywhere near fitting. e46 330ci vert Posted November 23, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 23, 2012 i removed 1 rear speaker today no room behind the magnet as stated from the magnet to the mount position the speakers are 35mm and thats with the oem foam covering the magnet. so after offering a new speaker up the speaker sits10mm proud,so im in process of making an adaptor plate to get them fitted Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
