mit
Probably out of your price range, off topic, and I don't normally go for aftermarket wheels... but... http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/showroom/product_info.php/new-3sdm-006-alloys-silver-polished-with-deeper-concave-rear-et3540-p-3858 < what about these MRyan and tombo

mb15
^^ Don't know mate, took me long enough to find that 1 example so i think your prob right about the cheese like structure of the reps!! Ha Ha Gaz
v8man
I bought some genuine BBS LMs off Ebay with tyres for £800 and they are mint! You just got to keep your eye out.
das_flo
I wouldn't bother with either jay tbh. I won't go into why I think that, but I'd be looking at something abit better quality, less 'done' and worthy of gracing a BMW if I were you. Bbs reps were cool in 2010, not no more (IMO). mit, Wash, Gaz and 1 other
Jay.
Thanks for your input guys My minds made up now, I'm not one of those who'll buy something based SOLEY on forum advice like some It'll not please everyone but I seem to make good choices with my cars as I regularly get complimented on how well I've done them (not wanting to blow my own trumpet) but I think I have done some pretty simple but swish creations in my time

I'm lucky dude, my mate runs "WHEEL CLINIC" so I get my wheels done all the time! They do courier delivered etc, seriously a good job. Yeah I'll send you some shots dude. They look there best when clean obviously! But it's a wicked colour, and unlike the factory diamond cut it doesn't pit or corrode sive s

Jay.
BBS LM'S in 18" Flavour 8J & 9J (hopefully as long as the sale of my current wheels goes through) shafz, sive s and mit
Mike-
Could be interesting, always wanted to see some LMs in 18" not running stupid stretched tyres - just sat normally and flush. I'd desperate to find a set of like £600 legit but completely fubar and in need of repair RSs and just powdercoat the lot and run them sensibly. I think RS reps look way worse than LMs though. Lesser evil and all that. Jay.
Mike-
But on another note: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E63-6-SERIES-18-ALLOYS-36116758777-GENUINE-BMW-BBS-VGC-SET-OF-4-/200896052004?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item2ec6567b24 I'm not sure if these would work or not, only 8" wide so the offset shouldn't be a problem. No clue on centrebore, though.
Gaz
How come you are going for 18's instead of 19's? I was sure you were one of the usual crowd that normally say how small they look in 18 flavour!

Jay has agreed with me on tyre size as well as a bunch of other stuff lately. It's a sign of old age Jay.
Jay.
How come you are going for 18's instead of 19's? I was sure you were one of the usual crowd that normally say how small they look in 18 flavour! Really? Can't think i've ever said that. I've had 2 sets of 18" Style 32's, one i sold you! I had 19" on the clubsport & although it looked great, it handled like s**te & i felt i lost a bit of acceleration, might have been placebo, plus being on 19" it looked quite high, even low on coilovers. I think 18" is the perfect size, its took a while, but i've learned the hard/expensive way. Plus it'll still look on its hoop And yes, think its got something to do with maturing eh mit, hell, i'm going to Trev1964's this weekend to swap out my carbon cube trim with mytrle wood! mit
Gaz
Really? Can't think i've ever said that. I've had 2 sets of 18" Style 32's, one i sold you! Refering to LM's, not rims in general. I should have made that clearer really And yes, think its got something to do with maturing eh mit, hell, i'm going to Trev1964's this weekend to swap out my carbon cube trim with mytrle wood! Don't say that! I'm younger than you (I think, maybe same age) and I love my wood trim! Immature people can still love wooden trim! Jay.

Jay.
I've gone full circle tho, i had birch interior trim in the imola coupe & everyone hated on it! Although the wood was a kinda baby sick colour You need to remember , i'm coming FROM carbon trim to wood, its not like i've started off with it, its a choice to go to it Luke! yeah, i realised thats what you meant after i poted Gaz, yeah fair comment, i might have said LM's look a bit small in 18" Flavour, or was it CSL's? I cant remember. Only time will tell i suppose, having looked recently at the likes of C17RSF's 'vert on the same set up , they dont appear small etc, so hopefully will be ok.
