9j et35 on 2005 e46 ?

Recommended Posts

Hi I have a e46 330ci m sport convertible I'm looking to buy some wheels which the rears are et35 and 9j 18" will these fit and also could you help me with tyre size (car is not lowered)

Fronts will be 18" 8j et35 what tyre size for this

I wanna try and stay as close to normal mv2 tyres 225/40/18 front

And 255/35/18 back

All your help will be much appreciated as it will save me money buying the wheels and being very disappointed

As Blair says you'll probably need a slight arch roll on the rear but that's easy enough. They should fit nicely.

What wheels are they?

My rears are 9J et26 but I run a 225 tyre. I could probably get a 235 on there. Yours will sit 9mm further in so should be ok. Worst case you'll need an arch roll and a slightly slimmer tyre, but they will fit.

I had the exact combo on my bbs Lm's I've just sold 9j 18" et 35

I can tell you now there's no way as long as I've got a hole in my arse you'll get a 255 on the rear & it be drivable.

I had 225 40's stretched on them & they still rubbed slightly with rear passengers

I have 265 on a 9.5j with arch roll on et27 and only get minor rubbing.
So I would of thought et35 would be very little rubbing

IIRC mine are 9j ET 40 + 15mm spacers and rub so I'd have thought he'd have got away with it.
