Looked like some seriously tasty motors from some of the videos I've seen. Can't believe they're doing Atlanta to Ibiza this year! I heard from some distance then saw two Ferraris on the H5 last Sunday afternoon, one of which was an F40 I was just crossing the footbridge towards Campbell park and didn't have my phone with me for a pic.....damn it! Gaz Posted June 14, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 14, 2014 Flushed the toilet and thought the cistern was a little warm. Then noticed all our cold water was absolutely boiling. Been up into the loft and our cold water tank is so hot I can't even touch it. How does this even happen?? The loft itself isn't very warm so it's definitely not the sun that's done it. BmEagle Posted June 14, 2014 Report Share Posted June 14, 2014 (edited) I Assume you have either a conventional boiler feeding a hot water cylinder (not a combi boiler) or a cylinder with immersion heater (knackered thermostat so will keep heating until it boils) either way switch off and run the hot taps before the tank or fittings rupture which could cause boiling hot water to come through your ceiling. Gaz Posted June 14, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 14, 2014 Turned the water heater off and ran the bath to empty the cold water. Water tank in the loft has now filled back up with cold water and stayed cold for a couple of hours so shouldn't have any risk of the tank melting/breaking. Both saying "oh my god we look stupid in this" Then my eldest lad (who was sat in the back) found something in the seat back "oh my god dad there's a tampon in here" unopened before you ask.
