Anyone know how to fix this? My PC Monitor tends to display such things as this

IMAG0742_zps2rzzseaz.jpg

Along with a high pitched (although quiet) screaming/ screech. After a while it will sometimes slowly come back to life and display what it's supposed to. I'm thinking either graphics card or the monitor itself is shagged (the noise is coming from the monitor though, as far as I can make out).

Any wisdom?

Yeah, H7 is just a size - they can be either halogen/filament or xenon (discharge). (Or you can get xenon filled filament bulbs - just like you can get halogen, argon bulbs etc.)

Stock E46 lights on all shapes were H7 for halogen and D2S for xenon/bi-xenon.

The plot thickens and becomes more confusing.

I'm just going to go with the 55W H7 retrofit kit and be done with it, fed up of faffing about with trying to find an OEM set.

Your assistance is appreciated! :)

In relation to above....

Interestingly in my stupidly low E30 I also have the issue of being blinded by everyone else. And that's from behind as well as coming from the opposite direction.

I guessed it was because I was so much lower than most.

I also find the light output to be pants! and I have projectors an HID kit. I guess that's just the old technology!

My E30 is also super low and I've never had this issue when driving it, I also have 8000k Xenon's in there and have found that the light output is amazing. Rarely use my full beams and all the roads around here are unlit.

I can't imagine the technology to be any worse than newer halogen cars with HID kit's fitted.

Well it's that time of year again where I like to spoil Erindoors.

So as usual I got her the following

And

I got

I'll also be taking the chain off and taking her out later. Not for too long though as I don't want her getting the wrong idea.
