I'd had cocker spaniels as a kid and the cavalier was the biggest dog the wife would have, such nice matured. Currently looking at rescue home in Saltburn that's ran by someone I work with wife. Seems a bit better now, we thought they were going to section him at one point. Doctors have given him sleeping tablets and more antidepressant believe it or not. Talk about fighting fire with fire. I had them all the time growing up and when I'm looking for a dog in the future a Spaniel is where I'll be looking. We looked at the local rescue home but it's full of what I call dickheads with small c**k dogs (staffies and rotties) no offence to anyone who has one (but the owners I've seen so far with them are just that) The wife's been looking for another cavalier but none around here, told her I don't mind travelling to find the right dog.
