Anyone Miss Their Old E36?

Recommended Posts

I miss my old 323 coupe, i prefered the looks compared to my e46 tho it was costing a fortune to keep on the road and it looked like every other M3 rep out there. I do miss the sound of the K&N and Remus straight through pipes, Superchipped to :)

My 318is, I do miss her, but tbh, I prefer my E46 it feels a lot newer than my e36 (i know it is newer) i just like the feeling. I spent so much monye on her and let her go for soo little :) ohh well here she is with the old wheels and the ACS 4 that I have now on my e46. I had to roll the rear arches to make her fit these wheels and it fell so heavy with them. but they just feel right on the e46. sitll have a full morea green half leather interior for sale that i bought for her but never fitted!!

loved my E36 Compacts, sold the green one to get the Mtech silver one which i had for 2 years before i crunched it up in February this year, was planning on gettin an E46 anyway but was hoping for a 325ci sport but lost all my NCB with that accident so the 318Ci sport will do me for now

Posted these in the newbie section but thought they were probably better placed here. Enjoyed all my E36's for different reasons but the sport coupe was definately the best and regretted it the minute I sold it.

Forgot about this thread!

Some nice ones in here - Muly's Sport and James' M3 were stunners :)

Like them so much I bought another (my 3rd E36)

And one more..

After selling the red Evo above (which I regret as it is now a stripped out track car) I thought it was about time I tried once more with a newer model.

I plumbed for a 325ci Sport.

Although it had a lovely colour combo I thought it was very under powered.

I didn't keep it long before I hankered after more S50 power so I bought another Evo.

Although I threw a load of money at it I didn't feel the love for this one at all so I only kept it for 3 months.

I think I just got bored of the continual cleaning/polish/waxing ritual and wondering if it would still be where I'd left it on a night out etc.

So I have my 330 for now which I'm enjoying.. I've actually parked it in a Tesco's carpark, something I've not done with a car of mine for a few years..

i never had a coupe before and i always wanted one,,

that being said im missing the 46 a little now its the longest i ever owned one car almost 3 years testament to the car i think..

Love the E36. As has already been said, much more of a drivers car, could put my old M3 Saloon anywhere I needed it sideways, so balanced and held on so well until you got silly with the go fast pedal :)

This is my old one which I had for 5 years, spent thousands on this!!! New engines etc etc

Sold that and regreted it, so got a Evo Convertible which I love...

Trying to keep the miles off the Evo now and have a kid on the way so my driveway looks like this

The E36 is more raw, the E46 is very much a cruising car with lots of toys.

Cannot see me being without a E36 for a fair few years to come if I am honest. Love them.

I regret selling my 328i everyday since it went:

Was pretty much standard when I picked it up, but added a few bits:

I've also had a number of others along the way...

And and some I've not got photos of.
