Quiksilver_TR
Right then ICE people, Im looking to install a DAB radio with the Andrive unit, and thanks to mintimperial I have the DAB unit on its way to me. ...but I would like to sort an aerial for it that isnt external mount. Has anyone used an aerial splitter to use the exitsing aerial to get FM and DAB? http://www.amazon.co.uk/DAB-Splitter-Connector-Aftermarket-Installation/dp/B00KKP9VAU can anyone recommend a decent spliiter that will do this? Or if not, a decent internal glass mount SMB connector aerial for DAB. Thanks in advance.
Quiksilver_TR
Are the OE aerials/recievers amplified??
daveo132
Yeah I'm sure the standard aerial is boosted from a unit in the rear. I've got an in-line power cable for mine with the Andrive. BMW power this amp down the centre of the aerial cable (over engineered much?) Can't help with your first question though.
keep-3
Quicksilver did you ever work out if an aerial splitter works? I'm looking at fitting a pioneer aftermarket dab radio and would like to go down the same route if possible.
